Join us as we highlight the Gardens of Strathmere! On August 13, 6 pm at the Schiavo Library, the SIA Native Plant Committee invites you to an illustrated talk showcasing the green thumbs and beautiful native plant gardens in public and private spaces throughout town.

About the event
Join us as we highlight the Gardens of Strathmere! On August 13, 6 pm at the Schiavo Library, the SIA Native Plant Committee invites you to an illustrated talk showcasing the green thumbs and beautiful native plant gardens in public and private spaces throughout town. You’re also invited to create a pressed flower bookmark. Bring your own flower (BYOF) or we’ll supply some. Beach entrance gardens on seven streets, plus work beginning on a maritime forest and a meadow under the Welcome to Strathmere, plus Schiavo Library’s native plant garden will be highlighted.
If you’ve purchased plants from us during one of our native plant sales or have a garden in bloom, please send pictures to Linda @ lcbateman@comcast.net, along with your permission to use them in our power point.
